Advanced technology

Special fluorescent staining dyes DNA/RNA, while 2nd-generation chemistry staining reagents dye enzymes and particles in the cytoplasm
The more DNA or RNA in a cell, the stronger the fluorescent signal, so abnormal cells are distinguished with higher sensitivity
Flow cytometry: every cell is detected by three beams of light from three directions
